DESCRIPTION
Drylok Masonry Crack Filler is formulated to seal and waterproof cracks
in concrete walks, steps, floors and to replace cracked mortar joints.
Fast easy clean up with water. Easy gunning with excellent adhesion,
even to damp surfaces.
SURFACE
PREP
Opening to be sealed must be free from frost, dust, dirt, oil
and loose particles. Hosing and wire brushing facilitate cleaning.
APPLICATION
Place cartridge in any standard caulk gun. Cut
end of plastic spout at 45° angle to desired opening size, puncture
seal at base of spout. Apply only when air temperature is above 50°F.
Force compound tightly into crack. Smooth down with wet putty knife
or trowel. May be subjected to traffic in two hours.
COVERAGE
84-87 lineal ft. with 1/8” bead - 48 lineal ft. with 1/4”
bead - 18-27 lineal ft. with 3/8” bead MAINTENANCE None required.
May be painted over immediately with latex paint. Will not bleed.
LIMITATIONS
DRYLOK Masonry Crack Filler is non-flammable. It should not,
however, be used as a substitute for high temperature furnace cement or
fireplace mortar. Deep cracks (over 1/4”) should be filled to within
1/4” of top with Oakum before filling with crack filler. Do not
store in areas of extreme heat or cold.
